REVISION 2.2.0 IS HERE WITH DUAL USB POWER AND BUTTON CONNECTORS!
What's new in revision 2.2.0?
- Dual USB Power Lines: Now, you can power two devices connected to your Atari ST computer, such as the SatanDisk or ACSI2STM devices.
- JST SH 2x1mm Male Connectors: These connectors are for external buttons in custom cases.
100% backwards compatible with previous revisions.
SidecarTridge is a state-of-the-art multi-device emulator crafted for the Atari ST, STE, and Mega series. This edition comes with all connectors pre-soldered and ready for you to plug in your Raspberry Pi Pico W or WH.
- Interact with the cartridge bus in real-time for data reading and writing, which allows for seamless emulation of different devices. Please read the documentation for the current list of devices.
- Dive into a realm of possibilities limited only by your creativity. Thanks to its open architecture and the open-source code available here, SidecarTridge can evolve to meet any challenge you envision.
This SidecarTridge Multi-device includes:
- SidecarTridge PCB board with manually soldered female headers for the Raspberry Pi Pico W or WH and USB 2.0 2 Right-Angle 4P+4P Female.
- 4xM4 6mm Phillips Nylon Screws
- 4xM4 8mm Nylon Spacers
There are three different options:
- No microcontroller board: You will need to buy a Raspberry Pi Pico W or WH. You will also need to solder the header pins to the Pi Pico W.
- Raspberry Pi Pico W (with soldered headers): The board has a pre-configured Pi Pico W board with the latest firmware version. The headers come pre-soldered.
- Raspberry Pi Pico WH: The board comes with a pre-configured Pi Pico WH with the latest firmware. The Pico WH already has headers.
The main difference between the W and the WH is the JST SH 3x1mm connector on top of the Pico WH, which connects it to the Raspberry Pi Debug Probe, as described here. You need a cable with two JST SH 3x1mm female connectors to connect the UART to the Raspberry Pi Debug Probe.
This product does not contain the USB A to USB micro cable data. You can find a cable in our store.
